Well, Here We Go !!!

Well. we are off and sitting in the airport.  I have never been to Dulles, so it is nice to spend a little extra time here.  The flight was scheduled for a cool takeoff at 10:48 PM.  Well, now the cool takeoff is at  2:15 AM.  What's a few hours among Ghanaians.  Sort of cool actually.  We have many, many Ghana folks to talk with as we wait.  So perhaps we have a little extra time for Ghana education.  It can't hurt.  We are super excited about meeting the kiddos.  It's always exciting to see how Gods plan unfolds in your life.  We are so blessed to be afforded the opportunity to even do such a thing.  Even several extra hours in the airport can't dampen the excitement and adventure Donna and I are on together.  We will celebrate our 31st anniversary next Wednesday in an SUV climbing a mountain to Kwahu where the kids live.  Now, if you would have asked me 31 years ago what we may be doing on our 31 anniversary, I really do not think adoption from Ghana would have been on the list, but it was on Gods list.  More later as the week happens before our eyes.  We will be forever changed.
